Selmar Institute of Education is proud to announce that we are a Winner of the 2012 ACPET/TDC Coaching and Mentoring Initiative. The Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) is the national industry association for independent providers of post-compulsory education and training for Australian and international students whose mission is to enhance quality, choice, innovation and diversity in Australian education and training for individual, national and global development.
From the ACPET website:
“In conjunction with the TAFE Development Centre (TDC), ACPET secured five $10,000 grants for its members to develop and implement a project that supported their College’s workforce development and capacity. After receiving nine quality project concepts, the TDC has agreed to fund all applicants in 2012.”
Selmar Education Institute is not only committed to providing quality training and education to students; but also developing staff skills through coaching and mentoring. We are dedicated to developing and encouraging the continual evolution of our staff and believe our approach to training provides our staff with the ability to unlock their potentials and create better opportunities for life– lessons not just for today, but lessons for the future.
Winning this initiative highlights the extra emphasis and importance to our priority of nurturing and developing the emerging leaders of our business, including both academic and support staff. We look forward to ensuring that the learning from the program is infused via mentors and the activities of mentees.
