5 steps to getting your first aid certificate

Here’s how you can get your first aid certificate in a few simple steps.

Step 1: Choose the right course for you

Choose the first aid course that best suits your needs. These are your options:

HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation: If you need to learn how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

HLTAID003 Provide first aid: To gain the knowledge and skills required to perform first aid, or to fulfil the employment requirement of holding a first aid qualification.

HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting: This course is a first aid qualification that is tailored to the child care industry and has additional focus on providing first aid to children.

Step 2: Book online

Once you’ve chosen your first aid course, you can either contact us to ask a few questions or simply click ‘Book now’ to do just that!

Our online enrolment process will ask you to select your desired date and location from a range of options. Remember, you can do the first half of your training online within our online learning portal but you’ll still need to attend the 1-day workshop to get essential practical experience.

Step 3: Complete your pre-learning online

The course material online will guide you through and make getting started with your first aid training simple and convenient. Remember, you can contact us if you have any issues as we are always here to help.

Step 4: Attend your workshop

Once your pre-learning is completed, you’ll need to attend your workshop! This is actually a really enjoyable day where you put all your learning into action and gain a thorough understanding of how you can provide first aid in a variety of situations.

Step 5: Congratulations!

That’s is, you did it! If you were able to complete all required training to a satisfactory standard, then you receive an accredited first aid certificate that is recognised across the country.
